Questions
- Which one should I pick?
- Pick the patch you would actually travel for. The Midlands sits in both North and South, so a Midlands operator can take either. If you work the whole country, or you cover Northern Ireland, take All UK.
- Can I join more than one?
- Yes, just tap each one you want. Worth knowing that a Midlands job goes out to both North and South, so if you join both you will see that job twice. Most people are better off on one list.
- What does it cost?
- Nothing. Joining is free and quoting is free. We do not take a commission out of your price. Our booking fee is charged to the customer, not to you.
- Do I need to save your number?
- Yes, and it matters. WhatsApp only delivers broadcast messages to people who have the sender saved in their contacts. When you message us we send our contact card straight back, so it is one tap to save. Do that once and it covers every list you are on.
- Will the other transporters see my number?
- No. These are broadcast lists, not groups. Everyone receives the job separately and replies land privately with us. Nobody on a list can see who else is on it.
- How many messages will I get?
- Only when a move comes in on your patch that is worth your while. We are not going to fill your phone with chat, and there is no marketing on the lists.
- Do I have to quote on everything?
- No. Quote on the ones that suit your kit, your route and your diary, and ignore the rest. There is no obligation and no penalty for passing.
- How do I get paid?
- You deal direct with the customer and settle the balance between you, the same as any other job you take on.
- How do I stop the messages?
- Reply STOP on WhatsApp at any point and we take you off straight away. Say which list, or STOP ALL to come off everything.
