2. Our Service

TransportQuoteCompare is a marketplace that connects users needing transport services with verified transport companies. We facilitate introductions and process booking fees. We are not a transport company and do not perform any transport services ourselves.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • One account per person or company.

4. For Users (Customers)

  • Posting a job is free.
  • You pay a booking fee when you accept a quote. The booking fee percentage is shown before payment.
  • The remaining transport cost is settled directly between you and the transporter.
  • We do not guarantee the quality, timeliness, or safety of transport services. Transporters are independent businesses.
  • You should verify that the transporter has appropriate insurance for your item.

5. For Transporters

  • Registration and quoting is free.
  • You must provide valid verification documents (insurance, licences).
  • You must maintain valid insurance for all transport work undertaken through our platform.
  • Quotes are binding offers — if accepted, you are expected to fulfil the transport at the quoted price.
  • You must not contact users outside the platform to circumvent our booking fee.

6. Booking Fees

The booking fee is a percentage of the accepted quote value. It is non-refundable unless the transporter cancels the booking. Refund requests should be directed to support@transportquotecompare.co.uk.

7. Limitation of Liability

TransportQuoteCompare is a marketplace platform. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from transport services arranged through our platform. Any disputes regarding transport services should be resolved directly between the user and transporter.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
